My inspiration for the figures in this show came from within our Baton Rouge community. Some faces are meant to call on Louisiana's French Heritage, like Marie Antoinette & Coco Chanel, while others are nationally renowned figures who have gained a fascination with our community like Betty White, Elvis Presley, or Dolly Parton. Each piece of art was designed to not only be a reflection of the subject’s personality but also to highlight the arrangement of Local Supply itself. Each piece features, in some part, the paint colors used to decorate the store.
